In 2022, in memory of Elbert Balch, we established the Elbert Balch Memorial Blood Drive. This year, LifeSouth Community Blood Centers will return to the parking lot on Church Street/RailRoad to continue this beautiful legacy of love.
For The 44th Madison Street Festival 2026, LifeSouth will bring two blood buses, and we hope you will take a few moments from your festival day to honor Elbert, his family, and the legacy he left behind by giving the gift of life.
Elbert was a passionate supporter of the Madison Street Festival and this community. He believed in the importance of donating blood and in the simple power of helping others. His family continues to carry that legacy by loving MSF and this community so deeply.
So let's SHOW UP and SHOW OUT for them on October 3rd. ❤️
