Time for spring cleaning

As spring yard cleanup continues, please keep the following compost collection guidelines in mind:

- Compost materials (grass clippings, yard waste, twigs and small breakable branches), are required to be contained in compost bags or placed in a 33-gallon can (maximum 50 lbs.) with a City of Madison compost sticker. ๐๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ž ๐๐จ ๐ง๐จ๐ญ ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ฏ๐ž ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ฌ๐ž ๐ฉ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ข๐๐ž๐ฐ๐š๐ฅ๐ค๐ฌ ๐จ๐ซ ๐œ๐ฎ๐ซ๐›๐ฌ.
- Compost bags and stickers are available for purchase at City Hall, 101 W. Main Street ($1 per bag; $20 for an annual sticker).
- Compost is collected on the same day as your regular garbage pickup.
- Larger limbs (exceeding 4 inches in diameter, or over 6 feet) should be stacked horizontally at the curb. To schedule pickup, call the Street Department at 812-265-8304.
