Growing up on a farm and being very much a dare devil, I've been close to serious injury or death a LOT. Last night however was possibly the closest I've ever gotten. I just got back home from locking up the Luminous Live Work Condos parked my car at the house and stepped out of my car. about 4 seconds later I am surrounded by light and bbbbzzzzzzz sound and flashes of light coming off our house and an instant crack of thunder that made my eardrums hurt.
I've seen a LOT of storms, tornados, lighting streaking through our barn when we were milking cows, trees go down, rolling windnados (sideways rolling winds which is freaky AF) but never have I seen or been in that situation with my house discharging into the crack of lighting.
It happened so fast all I could think was DAMN.
Seconds later our neighbor texted me, dude my house discharged into that thing, so both our houses were involved. I LOVE nature. I really do it's fascinating as long as I live to tell about it.

This baby flying squirrel loves to poke his head out and have a chat with us. Super cute... 10' from our back door above the deck. Lots of nesting going on right outside our doors. First, the 12 turkeys were hatched 6' from our garage door and now these little guys. :).

It's official, nearly 3 years to the day from the first meeting with the team that would become BESA Monona, footings have begun. What a haul, and what an exciting time for such a great and unique project. Stay tuned. 1 Commercial Condo, 16 Live/Work condos and 29 residential apartments. Geothermal to heat and cool everyone, no surface parking which prevents runoff pollution and no need for retention ponds, Electric bikes and LOTS of outdoor and green space for being outside and not just in the box that so many projects provide these days.

Good morning, Facebook world.
Another trip around the sun is being celebrated today, which seems like the perfect time to announce my plans to make some goal-oriented changes.
I am excited to announce that I will be joining T.R. McKenzie, Inc. brokerage and firm overall as a commercial and residential Realtor (working on my broker's license), with synergies in development and property management. This move is exciting because I will get to work with the great people at TRM like Andy Crooks, Ellen Meier, Lou Elson, and many more!

This move is about the opportunity to expand and grow as a person and all the businesses involved, It's a perfect fit. I am making this change because of my business goals and aspirations and the ability to help a great small local firm grow.
That said it is difficult to be leaving Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group - Fitchburg, I have made great friends and have had amazing leadership from Phil Sveum and Peter Sveum, Realtor - Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, Realtor - Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group, and am grateful for all the growth and mentorship I've gotten from both of them, hopefully, I represented myself in accordance of their ethics and values. I'm also very thankful for some of the great agents I've been able to work with and hope to continue to at CBREG, it's a great firm that covers a lot of areas, and Coldwell Banker as a whole is a great organization.
