🇺🇸 Honoring Veterans Day & the 250th Marine Corps Birthday 🇺🇸
As we observe Veterans Day, I want to take a moment to thank my father for his 20 years of dedicated service in the United States Marine Corps. Last night, we celebrated the 250th Marine Corps Birthday — a milestone that honors generations of commitment, discipline, and integrity.
The Semper Fi (“Always Faithful”) values my father lived every day have deeply shaped how I approach both life and work. Loyalty, perseverance, and service to others guide how I build relationships and define success — not as individual achievement, but as shared success when everyone around me thrives.
I also want to recognize my mom, whose strength, support, and sacrifices made my dad’s service possible. Military service is never a solo effort — it’s a family commitment, and her resilience has been every bit as inspiring.
Thank you, Dad, Mom, and all veterans — and their families — for your service, support, and example.

🙌🙌. More land trust!!!!

We celebrated a major milestone—two new permanently affordable homes are now complete in Madison’s Allied Dunns Marsh neighborhood!

Community members, city leaders, and housing advocates came together to mark the occasion, with powerful words shared by Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway, Todd Mandel, Olivia Williams, and Elsa Floyd.

These homes were developed by the Wisconsin Partnership for Housing Development and built by Threshold Builds. Funded by the City of Madison, this project is part of a growing effort to build lasting, community-rooted solutions to housing affordability in Dane County.

As our Executive Director Olivia Williams shared at the event: "We’re proud to partner with the City of Madison, whose support—providing both land and critical subsidy—makes permanently affordable homeownership possible; it’s exactly this kind of partnership that allows the community land trust model to grow and thrive."
