This is significant for two reasons.
1. Inflation and interest rates are opposites. If inflation is going up higher interest rates slow down the economy and also inflation. The Fed announced they are still cautious... but interest rates could be going up soon.
2. Long term assets (like real estate) are great hedges against inflation. It's why investors are moving to real estate currently.
