Hello,

I wanted to make sure that I get this out to everyone as these are becoming problems yet again!!

If I catch a resident speeding on this property, while I am outside with my family, and I hollered at said resident to slow down, while other residents did too and then the speeding resident proceeds to give me the finger.... Congratulations!! You just earned the prize of a 30 days to vacate. I will not tolerate the speeding. If you have guests on this property and they are caught speeding, well you will get a talking to because your guests are an extension of you. The speed limit is 10mph for a reason. This is also placed nicely in the Rules and Regulations that was given at move in.

Lastly, if you are a dog owner, you need to start picking up after your animal(s)!! This will be the last and final warning. Dog owners signed the Pet Addendum at the time of move in, and you were given a copy. This document explains, where to walk your dog and to pick up after them. It also states this in the Rules and Regulations that was given to you as well. Folks will start being fined and if this still continues, then you will be given a 30 day to vacate. Downstairs residents, if we observe you letting your dog use the courtyard and not picking up after them, you will be fined. You are more than welcome to sit outside with your dog, but the courtyard is not a free for all for them. You must be outside with them if they are going to be leashed and outside with you. There are to be no tie offs attached to our buildings, as this will cause damage to our property.

You do not need to be home. A Lake of the Woods Apartments staff member will be there to unlock and lock your door.

Anyone else having a hard time with allergies or whatever is going around?

My goodness I am...started as a sinus infection, which was getting better, but now I have this horrible cough that sends me into asthma attacks. Waiting on a call back from the doctors to see my next step because my inhaler is only doing so much. Just wanted to put that out there, because I sound ridiculous on the phone, but trust it is me 🤣🤣

Wish this weather would make up its mind!!

Hello everyone!!
I will be out of the office starting March 25, 2026, and ending on March 30, 2026. Spencer and Xavier will be here on site during my time away. They will have the work phone while they are out doing their everyday tasks. Again, we have gone back to the emergency after-hours phone service. WE CLOSE AT 5pm and OPEN again at 9am MONDAY THRU FRIDAY!! Some folks are still having a hard time understanding this. IF IT IS NOT EMERGENT, THEN CALL DURING BUSINESS HOURS!! If it is emergent, please don’t hesitate to call and then the after-hours team will reach out to Spencer immediately!!
If we continue to have these non-emergency calls (after I have sent two emails about this and have even posted on Facebook), then we will start charging $50.00 during the week and $100.00 on weekends and holidays. This was gone over with each one of you at the time of moving in. All of this can be found in your Rules and Regulations packets.
Also, if residents continue to come to my home to talk about work after hours…etc., then that will leave me no choice to file as harassment and serve you with a 30 day to vacate.

Update!! As of 5:33pm, we are slowly turning the hot water back on. We got Spencer on the isolation valve and plumber under building testing the new, repaired lines!! You may experience a bit of sediment, which is normal..but let your bathtub and kitchen sink run a for a few extra seconds and it will clear right up!!

Attention!!!
We just discovered a hot water leak under the 605 hallway. Plumbers are on their way as we speak. You may experience the hot water shut down for a brief moment or two as they repair the busted pipe. 600 and 700 share an isolation valve, so BOTH 600 and 700 will experience no hot water as they repair. Heat will continue to run with no interruptions as this is a domestic line.
