DEVASTATED BUT UNBROKEN
Our extended family’s temple Beth Israel in Jackson, MS was destroyed by arson on Saturday night. The same temple the K*K burned in 1967.
The Torah that survived the Holocaust remains intact for the 170 member families. Mississippi’s only temple in the capital.
When young Addie (a cousin) was asked what we do now, she said: “Be Jewish. Be more Jewish than ever.”
This is a heartbreaking event. We are outraged. Beth Israel WILL rebuild.
Please donate what you can to help defend against antisemitism and show the strength of our Jewish community.
