I’ve always believed that life’s greatest lessons come from those who face challenges with unwavering determination. This year, as I participate in the Zuma Beach Triathlon, I am racing not just for myself, but for the incredible athletes who redefine what’s possible every day.
I’ve been deeply inspired by athletes who swim with one arm, run on prosthetics, and cycle with adaptive equipment—individuals who refuse to let limitations define them. Their resilience, courage, and sheer willpower remind me that true strength isn’t found in what we have, but in how we rise to meet adversity.
Mahatma Gandhi once said, “I complained that I had no shoes until I met a man who had no feet.” These words resonate deeply as I push myself through training, knowing that the struggle is temporary, but the impact can be lasting.
Why join me in training and raising funds for the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF)? Because every athlete deserves the opportunity to compete, to feel the rush of the ocean, the wind on their face, and the triumph of crossing a finish line. CAF provides prosthetics, specialized equipment, and support to adaptive athletes, giving them the resources they need to keep moving forward.
Every mile I swim, bike, and run is dedicated to them. With your support, we can ensure that no athlete is left on the sidelines.

Together let's rise to the challenge, race and raise funds for those who inspire us.
