We put this house on the market on a Friday, held an open house Saturday, received a full priced offer Sunday, had a bidding war Monday, were in and out of attorney review by Wednesday, and just five short weeks later our client is holding a check!

I’ve known the couple who bought this house for most of their lives (or hers at least). The Mrs. was in our bridal party almost eighteen years ago and Diana and I attended their wedding with our whole family last summer. As soon as I got my real estate license no one else was ever considered to help them find their dream home. With family it’s like that, but they put their trust in me regardless and I can't overstate how seriously I take that.

The market was extremely competitive and we put in more than a few offers. It wasn’t easy but it was one of the most professionally gratifying experiences of my life and now I can truly say I get why my dad was addicted to this business.

Every transaction is the most important one in the world to the parties involved and it’s that important to me, too. Really, it is. My first real estate transaction wasn’t easy and it seemed as if the Gods of residential home sales desperately wanted to teach me something, but we closed the deal and made sure that our sellers caught the remnants of a 2022 market while the buyers got a great home in a great neighborhood. Everybody wins!

Here’s what I learned: real estate is a character business. It’s easy to pick up the phone when things are good–everybody does that lol– but I also learned that I’m willing to pick up the phone when things don’t go as planned and isn't that actually more important.
