A little summer update that has absolutely nothing to do with real estate

This summer felt like one long collection of little milestones. Our little guy went from 5 to 8 months, and somehow every month he seemed to change a little more. Our toddler turned 2, which I’m still not quite sure how happened 🥹

We spent so much time outside and finally turned our backyard into a space we could really enjoy, adding pavers, patio furniture and sod... which our dogs promptly destroyed within a few weeks 😂

We took the kids to the beach for the first time, spent countless mornings at playgrounds, made our way to the Monmouth Racetrack, BlueClaws games, and the boardwalk. Our toddler even rode the rides by himself for the very first time. And at home, there was plenty of tummy time, backyard play and just letting them be little.

Summer with kids is magical. There’s something about this season of life that makes you want to slow everything down. Knowing that next summer they’ll be bigger, talking more, running around more, and ready for completely different adventures makes me want to soak up exactly who they are right now.

I’m really grateful that I get to lean into their childhood. To take the beach days and playground trips and backyard afternoons. To watch the first rides, the first adventures, and all the little milestones in between.

To make the memories that probably feel ordinary now, but that my wife and I will sit around talking about when we’re old and grey.

This summer was a good one 💛

SOLD | Texas ➡️ New Jersey

Two years ago this month, I got a message from a family in Texas who had been watching my YouTube channel. They were planning a big move to New Jersey and trusted me to help them find the right place to call home.

They knew they wanted new construction, but they were flexible on the town. The one thing that wasn’t negotiable? A great school district for their young family.

Buying from halfway across the country meant we couldn’t just tour homes every weekend, so we made every trip count. Luckily, it didn’t take many showings before they found the one.

They signed their contract last spring, construction started over the summer, and then came the waiting game.

One thing people don’t always realize about buying new construction is that the delays are different from a typical home purchase. You’re waiting on weather, permits, materials, construction schedules, and so many things that no one can control. It definitely takes patience, but having good communication and the right team makes all the difference.

Now they’re officially home in a beautiful new build that’s exactly what they envisioned for their family.
