This closing was special in that not only was I helping a close friend secure her dream home, but I was able to be a part of something bigger. Life has thrown my client some curve balls. More than a decade ago, she was living the dream with the love of her life and her two young daughters in Freehold. Suddenly, everything came crashing down when her husband passed suddenly - leaving her alone to raise their two girls. In the years to come, she showed resiliency, faith and strength as not only was she a devoted mother to her two girls, but she went on to start two successful businesses. And now today, on her own, she was able to purchase this spectacular home blocks from the beautiful beaches of Avon by the Sea. She is an example of what it means to dig deep, face grief but still move forward one day at a time and find joy in life. I am grateful to have been part of this next chapter. Wishing her and her family health, happiness, love and lots of sunshine in their beautiful new home!

This was a special closing as I worked alongside my colleague and lifelong friend Beth Skea Sarre Realtor, Salt + Cedar Properties. We have worked together on several transactions as of late, but this time we represented opposite sides of the transaction. She was the listing agent helping a close friend who lost her husband sell and downsize...so it was personal. I worked with the buyers who were once again family taking care of family; two daughters seeing to it their aging parents would be in a safe and beautiful yet manageable space close to them.

Despite the fact that we worked on different sides of the transaction, all was transparent, buyers and sellers communicated, information and well wishes were shared, and we all worked together to take care of everyone's needs. Cheers to teamwork, trust and manifesting the outcome desired by all.
