Is It Legit? is my simple concept: is this business worth taking your time, your money and your energy to try out? No ratings. No scales. No scores. Just if it’s legit and “worth it.”

You see the great ones here on Is It Legit. I’ll never put a business down so you’ll never see the plenty of experiences I try that are never featured here. I won’t ever put a business owner down however I will only feature ones that I truly feel are Legit.

Is It Legit? with Jersey John ☑️

I checked out Roots Head Spa + Wellness Lounge and we’ve gotta talk about it.

Is It Legit is a simple concept. No scores. No ratings. Just is a spot legit and worth your time and money to check out. I’m not paid by the establishment, I pay for my service and tip the staff.

Here’s my breakdown:

The Atmosphere: Roots Head Spa is located inside the Bellazio Collective in Matawan, NJ. Bellazio is one of those wellness and self care complexes that bring many businesses together under one roof. A cool concept that’s taken the self care and wellness industries by storm here in New Jersey. Roots is an individual studio inside Bellazio and you almost get transported somewhere else once inside. It’s relaxing and you feel at peace inside. Legit ☑️

The Service: It was Jersey John’s first head and scalp massage and Emilia walked me through what she was doing step by step. She was informative, caring and provided a great environment to chill the f out. Exactly what I needed. Legit ☑️

The treatment: I was quite surprised by how awesome this felt. It’s not something you typically associate with self care, however having a legitimate head and scalp massage feels amazing. The steam, the halo, the scrubs and everything else Emilia treated Jersey John with was A+. Legit ☑️

Recommendation: Don’t just save this for another day. This is something you should try for yourself. For the fellas or the ladies. It makes for a great gift. I picked treatments up for my mom and mother in law for Mother’s Day.

Wondering if Rao’s is Legit?

Haha could you imagine that episode of Is It Legit?

I had the honor of crossing off this bucket list restaurant in great company last night. Truly appreciate Anthony, Edward & John for inviting me.

The stories, the food, the conversation and did I mention the food.. all of it was top notch.

Dinner at Rao’s is an experience. No reservations. Only open M-F. Two seatings a night. 12 tables. I could go on and on.

If you ever have the chance at dinner here, take it.

And yes, it’s legit ☑️
