🎆 THE FIREWORKS ARE ON! 🎆

We understand that the recent burn ban in Charlotte County has caused some confusion, and we wanted to reassure everyone that Saturday night's fireworks show is still happening as planned!

Our fireworks display is part of a permitted event that has been approved by the Punta Gorda Fire Department. The show will launch safely over Charlotte Harbor on the west side of Fishermen's Village at 9:00 PM, with Punta Gorda Fire & EMS on site throughout the event to ensure everyone's safety.

We're incredibly grateful to the Punta Gorda Fire Department for their continued partnership and for everything they do to help keep our community and events safe.

Now let's celebrate together! 🇺🇸 We can't wait to welcome everyone for an incredible day of live music, great food, shopping, family fun, and a spectacular fireworks show over the harbor.

In the early 1940s, what had once been a sleepy railroad-and-fishing settlement buzzed day and night with the roar of training flights and the energy of young pilots and crews getting ready to head into the fight. It was part of Florida’s vital WWII home-front network, bringing new jobs, patriotic spirit, and a sense of purpose to local families who pitched in to support the war effort. After the war, the airfield quietly helped launch the next chapter of growth along Charlotte Harbor.
