A holding and renovation company Located In Northern Michigan is looking for a full-time Assistant Manager.

we’re looking for a Personal Assistant/Assistant manager to help our General Manager with the company daily operation. We’re looking for someone who can serve as our champion for all things property management and vendor coordination.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Assistance with Property management:
• Managing the rental units owned by the company.
• Inspection of the units as needed.
• Answering tenants and scheduling maintenance requests.
• Finding new tenants as needed - list the properties and screen the applicants.

Assist with hiring and managing new employees and contractors.
Assistance with locating new properties that would be purchased by the company.
Manage incoming mail and pay bills in a timely manner.
Coordinate and manage projects across the different company properties, including working collaboratively with staff and contractors to ensure projects meet deadlines. And report the status to the management.
Run errands as needed.
Manage/execute other projects as needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 3-5 years of experience in an administrative/secretary position
• Exceptional verbal and written communications skills exhibiting discretion, professionalism and confidentiality is crucial
• High level of professionalism and ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to remain calm, gracious and handle situations with grace under pressure
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
• Proven organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail a must
• Highly organized and ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Ability to follow instructions and take initiative
• Mobility - travel may be required through the different company properties

Technical Skills:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
