When I was little, growing up in Hudson, all I wanted was a home of my own and a family inside it.

Now I’m here… and I get it in a totally different way.

No one really talks about what homeownership actually looks like.
The random repairs, the “wait… how much?” moments, and the stuff that comes up out of nowhere. 😅

Every house has something though.
And every step toward owning one is still a step forward for your future.

From cheering at Bears games to being a total goof outside Palmer’s Market next to Suzie’s Diner…
that little girl is still very much me 🤍

There’s just something about small-town libraries 🤍

Every Thursday at the Rodgers Memorial Library, they host baby lap sit time — and it’s one of my favorite little things to do locally.

A sweet story read by one of the kindest librarians, followed by egg shakers + bubbles. It’s simple, but so special.

Mom life has slowed things down for me in the best way, and moments like this remind me why I love raising a family here.
