Last night was our 3rd Annual Furball for Live Free Animal Rescue, and what an incredible night it was.

Because of the generosity, kindness, and big hearts in that room, we are able to keep doing what matters most. Caring for animals who need a second chance and a safe place to land.

Every ticket, every donation, every moment of support truly makes a difference. It means full bowls, warm beds, medical care, and, most importantly, hope.

To everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported us in any way, thank you. You are the reason we can continue this work, and we are so grateful to have you as part of this mission.

Here’s to many more lives saved and many more tails wagging. 🐾

🎈 CALLING ALL BALLOON ARTISTS & DECOR PROS! 🎈

We’re looking for a talented volunteer (or balloon arch business) to help bring some extra WOW to our upcoming event!

📍 Murphy’s Taproom & Carriage House
📍 Bedford, New Hampshire
📅 Saturday, March 28th, 2026

We’re hoping to have a balloon arch created on-site, ready to go by 4:00 PM for our event kickoff at 5:00 PM. We’ll be sharing photos of our balloon arches from past years to show the look we’re going for!

Where do we even start with Dawn? She’s the kind of person everyone needs in their life. The one you can go to and say anything, knowing you’ll be met with zero judgment and nothing but love.

As our Director of Internal Affairs and Community Outreach, Dawn wears more hats than we can count and somehow looks graceful in every single one! Whether she’s offering thoughtful guidance during our toughest moments, being an incredible care provider on transport, or spreading smiles at our events, she embodies everything Live Free Animal Rescue stands for compassion, hard work, and pure-hearted kindness.

Dawn has this incredible ability to make you laugh one moment and tear up the next because she reminds us what rescue really is. It’s not just about saving dogs though she’s amazing at that, too. It’s about helping people, connecting hearts, and pausing to truly feel the sacred moments that make this work so meaningful.

When she’s not helping us at the rescue, Dawn is out there making dreams come true as a successful realtor with LAER Realty, finding forever homes for both people and pups!

But perhaps her favorite role of all is being a devoted mom and grandmother. Her heart is always with her daughters and grandkids, and she shows up for them with the same selflessness and love she gives to all of us. She’s the kind of mom and grandmother we all aspire to be, nurturing, funny, supportive, and endlessly present.

Dawn, you are the heartbeat of this rescue family. Thank you for the countless ways you lift us up, for your compassion that never runs dry, and for reminding us to slow down and embrace the moments that matter most.
