We're going Over the Edge… literally!

Meet our brave and bold Families in Transition “edgers,” who are gearing up to rappel down a building supporting our mission to end homelessness in New Hampshire.

Meet the team:
🧗‍♂️ David Crespo (returning) – Board Member & dedicated advocate
🧗‍♂️ Josh Clickman (returning) – Stepping up for his community
🧗‍♂️ Larry Cohen (returning) – The current TOP fundraiser and fearless champion!
🧗‍♂️ Mike Lynch (FIRST TIMER) – FIT's Director of Emergency Food and Shelter
🧗‍♂️ Mike McCaffrey (FIRST TIMER) – FIT's CFO

The Families in Transition team is currently in the top 4 fundraising teams—and we’re not done yet! Every dollar raised helps us provide housing, food, and supportive services to those experiencing homelessness. And yes, our edgers are truly going over the edge to make it happen.

Thank You for Making the 36th Annual Walk Against Hunger a Success!

Thanks to the efforts of more than 630 walkers, including 43 teams, along with countless donors, sponsors, and volunteers, we raised over $170,000 in support of our mission. Special thanks to Premier Sponsor NH Healthy Families.

These funds go directly to supporting our mission of preventing and breaking the cycle of homelessness by supporting those experiencing food insecurity in our community.

Each night, our adult shelter makes it possible to support up to 138 adults with a safe place to stay and access to essential resources.

That includes hot showers, laundry, a bed, nutritious meals, hygiene items, and daytime programming connected to community supports.

This work is powered by a community that shows up with time, resources, and care. Together, we are creating pathways to stability grounded in dignity, empowerment, and hope. 💙

On Sunday, more than 630 people came together to help prevent and break the cycle of homelessness in our community.
