Update on vacation rentals here at Sycamore Hollow Studio. I am delighted that I am getting so may reservations and request fior reservations. For the folks who plan to attend the White Top Native American gathering June the 21st and 22nd I just wanted to say that as of today the guest house is still availlable and the new loft accomidations are available for that weekend.

I decided to put my guest house on Homeaway as well as Airbnb to boost my business. I did this only two days ago and have already had a booking from Homeaway. That is great!

For you folks planning to travel to Manchester , Ky for the summer festivals and events, I will have 2 new places for overnight lodging along with the bigger Sycamore Hollow Guest House. There will be a bed room with two double beds that could sleep 4 if you double up. This vacation rental will have a private entrance, private deck, sitting area and bath. I will be set up like a hotel room. I plan to have it on Airbnb by April 1st. I it has already been reserved for the Salt Works Festival. The third place will be a bedroom with a double bed in my house. However the single bed room will only be suitable for one female traveling alone or a couple. Since this will not have a private bath or entrance and can not be locked off from my living area I will have to be extremely selective as to who can stay. I will post pictures later.

I want to inform all the prior guest to the guest house and anyone planning to stay here that I have extended my advance bookings on airbnb out to 9 months instead of 6 so that you may go ahead now and plan your summer visits to Manchester. This takes us through Labor Day weekend. Book early so you have a nice place to stay!

There is a new addition coming soon! I am remodeling my large upstairs bedroom into a second vacation rental. It will have two double beds, a sitting area for 2, a full bathroom, a private entrance with a deck, cable TV, WIFI, refrigerator, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, heat & air, everything you need for a trip to Manchester if you are on a budget (Rates will be budget friendly) or if the hotel and guest house is full. This will be another option for you. All my friends who have been coming and staying here in the Guest House for The Salt Works Festival in May,The White Top Band Native American event in June, the SASS shooting event in July, The Osborne Brother Festival in August, and Manchester Music Festival in September please consider booking as soon as possible so these places won't be full because it is first come first serve. More to come with pictures when the remodel is finished, hopefully by at least March 1st!

I just got back from a drive thru the beautiful Eastern Kentucky mountains and the trees are just so beautiful. I think this weekend and next week is the peak. The guest house is a great place to stay while you explore these old hills and hollows!
