Winter Storm Update: DPW crews are working to clear our roads as the snow and wind gusts continue. We have had a few trees come down today which have blocked roads and a couple that have involved downed power lines. South Street between Silver Drive and Swamp Road is currently blocked with power lines down. About 26 homes are without power. Eversource is on site assessing the situation. A Live Storm Sheet, maintained by Coventry emergency personnel, is a great resource that you can check to see if a downed tree, power line, road blockage, etc. has already been reported in your area. Checking this sheet first before contacting us might help to reduce duplicative reports to our dispatch personnel. The sheet will also provide information when the issue is cleared.
