We went to Walk On’s today for lunch and snapped a picture of the table in the corner.

These items are part of a deeply symbolic setting used at military dining-ins, mess nights, and memorial ceremonies. The entire table serves as a visual tribute to fallen and missing comrades.
The Lemon: Symbolizes the bitter fate of those who were captured, missing, or unable to return home.
The Salt: Represents the tears shed by waiting families and loved ones as they hope for answers.
An empty chair: Represents the service member who is no longer there.
An inverted glass: Signifies that the fallen cannot partake in the meal or toast.
A lit candle: Acts as a light of hope to illuminate their way home.
A single red rose: Symbolizes the blood shed and the sacrifice made to protect our freedom.

🍸 Kendrell “Kim” Hardy runs C&K Hardy Tipsy Sips and brings mobile bartending to events. If you’ve ever been to something where the bar made the whole experience better, that’s what she does.

🔧 Elizabeth Stone with Victory Plumbing Repair handles plumbing issues for homes and businesses when something needs to be fixed right.
