Meet Your Realtor - Lucas Commiso

My name is Lucas, and I am a Realtor working in Southern California. I was born and raised in Hermosa Beach, attending the local schools of Hermosa View, Valley, and Mira Costa High School. I am a second-generation realtor, raised during the market crash of 2008. Watching my parents continue to produce in what other realtors called a 'bad market,' I began to envision my real estate career.

During my high school years, I immersed myself into the world of real estate. Streamlining listing presentations, cleaning homes prior to listing, planting new landscapes, repainting both interiors and exteriors, and producing targeted marketing material gave me insight about the things realtors can do beyond the contract.

After obtaining my B.A. in Business Economics from the University of California, Riverside, I returned home to become a Realtor. I started by partnering with RE/MAX Estate Properties - the South Bay's leading brokerage. In 2018 alone, RE/MAX's volume level was over $2.22 billion. More people choose RE/MAX when it comes time to buy, sell and manage real estate.

Currently I am pursuing my next step toward better serving my clients by studying for my real estate broker's exam, which I will be eligible to take in October. My ability to help someone buy a home or sell a property is affected by the investments I have made in myself. If a real estate agent is unwilling to make commitments to continue training and education relative to the craft, then he or she is not best fit to help you manage your life's most valuable investment.
