I never thought closing day for my clients would happen! When your agent says to use a local lender, this transaction is 100% the reason why. But I am just so glad we were able to overcome everything and get it closed. Now we can all sleep at night!!!

Been trying to figure out what my next series of posts will be. While I’m working on it, here is my why. I love that I have the flexibility to take them to their camps, golf tournaments, swimming and whatever else they come up with. They are only little once and someday they won’t want to hang out with us. So for now I’m going to soak it all in!!

Drum roll please!!!

House #9 and the FINAL house! Or at least until we win the lottery. But we will probably still keep this house for investment, or when Brian makes me mad 🤣!

Being in Real Estate, I've had several clients who have purchased their home from a video or facetime. It makes me so nervous every time, but if you know me, I'm going to be very honest with them about the home. But I NEVER thought that I would buy a house without seeing it first. You are probably thinking ummmm why didn't you show you and Brian the house yourself?!?!

Well funny story. Remember, we are living in my parents' basement and I think all the agents at Prestige knew what we were looking for. So, I head off to Colorado for a conference and as you all should know Brian works in JC so he can't just up and leave. One of our agents didn't go and had told me if something came on the market while I was going, she would do a video. I think at this point we were 3 months in at my parents' house so I didn't have a lot of hope a house would come on the market. Anyways, I think it is like day 2 of this conference and they were doing give aways every day for prizes. So, I did some of the stuff to be entered into the giveaways and I told the rest of the team I want the apple air pods, I was going to win the apple air pods. We all laughed because there were A LOT of entries in this giveaway, and I never win anything. Surprise, Surpise..... I won the air pods!!!! After I went up and got my air pods, I said alright, now a house will come on the market and will get it!!! I'm not even kidding you, within the hour a house came on the market that checked all the boxes.... Julia sent it to me and said she already had a time set up to do a video so she was hoping we were ok with that, I tried to get Brian to meet her, but he couldn't get away that day. So, Julia goes and does the video for us, I think I probably asked her 80 million questions and we submitted and offer with neither of us actually seeing the house. And since I'm writing the post, we obviously got the house and once I got back from Colorado I came over for inspections and saw it for the first time. We do love our house and have talked about different projects we want to do. It has a lot of brown on the inside, too much brown for me. So, to me eventually the kitchen will be redone. Bria's room will most likely get a makeover this summer (but don't tell her, it's part of her birthday)!

But there you have it... all 9 houses I have either lived in or Brian and I have lived in together. I hope you enjoyed this weekly post!!! 😊

We are back to houses Brian and I have actually owned or rented this week!

House #8... Woods Drive.... I didn't really like this house. Remember from last week we were living in my parents' basement after we moved back from Wakefield. While living there we found out Konlen would be joining us, so we really had to find us a house. Brian liked this house, so we had a deal. Once we moved, we would remodel the kitchen. It was pretty much the same kitchen from when the house was built in 1983. So, he let me remodel the kitchen. I did love the kitchen, I loved my counter tops, back splash, not the Samsung appliances even though they were pretty. We replaced some flooring, wallpaper, painted. So, we did a lot to that house, but still wasn't my favorite. It was where we brought Konlen home so it did have a special meaning to me in that aspect, but once I got back into Real Estate and I saw what we could make, I convinced Brian we needed to find our forever home. At least until we win the lottery!
