A little Labor Day exploring with the crew. 🐾☀️

We got out early enough to enjoy some morning sunshine before it got too hot and checked out Hudson Trail here in Manhattan.

If you haven’t explored this one yet, it’s definitely worth adding to your list. You can start near CiCo Park and make your way north, with the walk becoming more of a nature hike as you go. 🌿🥾

And if you get to Marlatt Avenue and aren’t ready to call it quits, just across the road is Washington Marlatt Park, where you can keep exploring and extend your hike. (Or watch the sun set!)

The three four-legged members of our hiking party definitely weren’t ready to turn around. 😂🐕🐕🐕

Just another little corner of Manhattan that’s fun to get out and explore.

☀️🥵 Kansas definitely turned up the heat yesterday!
But that didn't stop the NextHome Unlimited team from having an amazing time in the Central Kansas Free Fair Parade! 🧡

We loved waving to the crowds, handing out goodies, and celebrating with our community. A special highlight for me was bringing my grandbaby, Juno, along. It was her very first parade and throwing candy, not catching it. Lol Getting to share that experience with her made the day even more memorable. ❤️😊

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the parade and gave us a wave along the route. We may have been hot, but the smiles, laughter, and community spirit made it all worthwhile!

🚧 Don't forget that Anderson Ave will be closed from Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 9. It is supposed tol reopen before the start of school on August 11.

🚧Traffic Update: Anderson Ave Closing to Through Traffic July 27 - August 9

Description: The next phase of the Anderson Avenue Water, Street, and Stormwater improvement project will close Anderson Avenue to through traffic between Connecticut Avenue and Canfield Drive from Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 9. Phase 2a paving activities will be occurring in the eastbound lanes between Timberlane Drive/College Heights Road and Oakdale Drive.

Traffic Impact: No through traffic will be allowed. Please use the detour route on Claflin Road and continue to drive with extreme caution in the construction zone.

Timeline: Anderson Ave will be closed from Monday, July 27 through Sunday, August 9. It will reopen before the start of school on August 11.

If you're ever passing through St. George, KS, (it's also worth a detour😉), do yourself a favor and stop by Willie's Hideout Bar & Grill! 🍔🍕🍺

This wasn't our first visit of course we actually stopped in again today after wrapping up my open house on Manhattans east side, and it was the perfect way to unwind. Great food, cold drinks, friendly service, plenty of TVs, a pool table, and an awesome outdoor deck make it a fun place to relax with family and friends. At 100 degrees we decided to stay inside today. Lol

A special Happy Belated Birthday to Erica, who celebrated her birthday yesterday! 🥳 Thank you for always taking such great care of your guests and making everyone feel welcome.
