Despite being the smallest deal I've done this year, this was a special transaction for me.
Heidi had her apartment on the market for six months with other agents who failed to tell her the true condition of the apartment, failed to communicate with her, and failed to bring her any offers. Understanding her needs and fears was the first and most important step to establishing our relationship. By telling her what she needed to know, not what she wanted to hear, I established credibility and we quickly built a relationship of trust. I convinced her to invest money in herself through painting and staging and we completely transformed the apartment in a week to prepare for its relaunch.
In less than three weeks on the market we had brought over 40 buyers through the door, received numerous offers, conducted a successful bidding war, settled on a wonderful first-time buyer, and sold her home quickly well above the asking price.
