I’m so pleased to share that I’m back as a Judge for the SBID International Design Awards, and continuing my role as Ambassador of Education — representing my amazing team at HG Design Works LLC.
Getting to review designs from all over the world is one of the most exciting and inspiring times of my year. And let’s be honest — it’s pretty fun to support and cheer on fellow designers who are absolutely crushing it.
I also get to sit on a judging panel with some of the top names in the industry — talk about motivation!
Can’t wait to celebrate even more creative brilliance this year.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for an inspiring evening at the showroom, celebrating the launch of Against the Grain: Mass Timber in the Home by the brilliant . This book highlights the beauty and sustainability of mass timber as a forward-thinking solution to the challenges of climate change.

It was an honor for our very own Hans Galutera of to be part of the insightful panel discussion alongside William Richards and Ben Carr from . Conversations like these are essential in shaping the future of design, fostering innovation, and embracing sustainability in our industry.

The PID Floors flagship showroom is a true testament to passion and dedication—36 years in the making—and has become a hub for design inspiration. As their second book event, this is just the beginning! We’re looking forward to an exciting 2025, filled with more thought-provoking conversations and collaborations.
