Since relocating to Manistee, one of the things I was missing from my time at REMAX Perrett Associates in Battle Creek was our weekly Mastermind group. So, I decided to see if JJ- Jennifer Jones and Meagan Kempf | Associate Broker | RE/MAX Bayshore Manistee wanted to join me and dip our toes into starting a Mastermind group here. Today was our first meeting and it was SO good. We’re reading Unreasonable Hospitality and two chapters in it’s already making me think about my business in a different way.

One quote (of many) that stuck with me, “Service is black and white. Hospitality is color.”

Real estate can become a checklist pretty quickly. Do this, sign that, submit this, follow up on that…those things are very black and white, but I want to make sure I’m adding the color. The joyful service, thoughtful touches, clear communication, genuine care, and making sure my clients know and feel that I’m here for them. I don’t just want to provide good service and get my clients from contract to closing. I want to create an experience they remember and that feels different from what they’d receive anywhere else.

I’m already looking forward to next week where we’ll be going over chapters 3-5.

What a beautiful day it was today in Manistee, made even better with this view (pic 1) and delicious lunch Blue Fish Kitchen And Bar (pic 2) with JJ- Jennifer Jones (pic 3) where we got to celebrate our closing last week for our sweet clients AND do some business planning. Let’s gooooo!

This Uptown BLT with an added egg and Tomato Basil soup on the side was chef’s kiss! Drop a pic in the comments of your fave meal you’ve eaten lately. I wanna see!

Small town celebrations just hit different!

We’ve been celebrating all week long at the Manistee National Forest Festi and got to kick off America’s 250th with a celebratory parade through downtown Manistee this morning. I had SO much fun with my RE/MAX Bayshore - Manistee crew. It was a hot one today, especially with our hot air balloon flame heating up the streets. 🔥
