Manistee County is currently under an extreme winter storm warning alert. Manistee County residents can expect continued snowfall tonight and into Tuesday morning with the potential of 50 to 60 mph winds overnight. These conditions will make traveling extremely difficult and in some instances very dangerous due to road conditions and limited visibility. Manistee County emergency management, in cooperation with law-enforcement and emergency services, are strongly recommending that residents limit or cancel any travel on Manistee County roads until conditions improve. We will continue to provide updates to our residents when possible please be safe.
