Farnam Insurance and Real Estate Local Insurance, Real Estate, and Real Estate Appraisal business. In 1950, Farnam Insurance and Real Estate was started by Carroll Farnam.

We offer help with buying and selling a home, all your personal and business insurance needs, and property valuation for private individuals and lending institutions. He sold insurance after his shifts at Keystone and did so until his death in 1969. His son, Ken, took over the business and has been running it ever since. In 2002, Ken's son, Andrew, moved back to Manito and became the third generat

ion of Farnam men to work in the family business. Ken and Andrew are joined by Julie Moore and Terry Graff to serve Manito, Green Valley, Forest City, Havana and many other surrounding towns in all of their insurance, real estate and appraisal needs. Over the years, Farnam Insurance has been greatly involved with the local community. Recently, they have helped sponsor Midwest Spirit Girls Traveling Softball, and the basket auction at the Popcorn Festival. We look forward to continuing to be a part of a great community and also to help you with your insurance needs.

The Havana office will be closing at 2 pm all this week. Thursday the 9th of May the Havana office will be closed all day. This is so Rachelle can help with some family health issues. The Havana office will be open from 9 to Noon, Friday the 21st. Rachelle Waddell will then be in Manito from 1 to 5 pm. Havana and the Manito office will be open regular hours 9 am to 5 pm on Monday the 24th.

We will be closed at 1:00 pm in Manito today the 20th. Ken and I are participating in a charity golf outing for MS research. The Manito office will be open Friday the 21st from 9 to 12 and from 1 to 5. We will be closed this Saturday the 22nd.
