I dare say that it's special when you start by getting to know someone (in this case, because our kids went to the same school). Then, late at night, you're texting and answering their random real estate questions... then you're helping them buy a new home/sell their old home. And the icing on the cake: becoming real actual friends through the years and ultimately being asked to be their sponsor to enter the church! I MEAN, COME ON!

So honored and grateful to have become friends with Iris and her family through the years. If real estate was the thread that kept us connected after we switched schools, then I'm all the more grateful for this career. What a gift!

Congrats to Iris and Brian for closing this chapter and moving on to the next!

👏👏👏 way to take care of your citizens Two Rivers!

*Storm Debris Cleanup Operations*

The City is beginning a lengthy community-wide storm debris cleanup effort.

Under normal circumstances, the City only removes tree debris from City-owned terrace trees located within the public right-of-way. If a privately owned tree falls into the street, City crews typically clear the roadway for safety purposes, but the property owner remains responsible for the remaining cleanup.

Due to the widespread devastation caused by this storm, the City of Two Rivers will this time attempt to provide an unusually accommodating cleanup response by collecting all storm-related tree debris from residents throughout the community.

Residents should have all debris roadside by Tuesday morning; city crews will collect it for the rest of the week. Please separate into TWO piles:

1) Smaller Debris Pile: Nothing larger than 5 feet in length and 6-inches in diameter.

2) Larger Debris Pile: Anything larger.

This is a major operational undertaking and residents are asked to remain patient as crews work through neighborhoods. Because this response requires a substantial reallocation of Public Works staffing and equipment during one of the busiest construction and maintenance periods of the year, residents should also expect delays to other seasonal Public Works activities, including scheduled concrete and roadway repair projects.

The City appreciates the community’s patience and understanding as crews focus on storm recovery and public safety operations.

🍹Cheers to Cathy and Ken who sold their home on Riverview Dr after choosing from 3 great offers after 2 days of showings. We celebrated with margaritas at Kc's Kitchen & Cocktails, since they found me (or at least my face) there through our shared love of local eats!

I am happy to have been able to deliver a smooooth experience for a couple with a GREAT story who has given so selflessly to others. And the best part yet: we get to keep them in Manitowoc! 🥳🤩

5 years of real estate! 5 years of coffees and toasts, and, "Is that a jar of P*E on the counter?!", and diving into the lives of THE BEST clients, and contracts and spreadsheets, and quirky launch videos… 9 p.m. texts to find out what your house is worth because your dream property just came on the market... Real estate is not for everyone (in fact only 13% of agents last until 5 years), but for me, it has been such a gift.

So, to show my gratitude… 5 years: 50 beers on me! If you’re free tonight any time after 5, stop out to Petskull. Find me and I’ll give you a KEY to free beer.
