People often wonder….”Why didn’t I get the apartment/home I applied for?”
So many factors come into play when looking at applications as a landlord.
Here is a few helpful hints:
1.)Fill out the application COMPLETELY. The more references and info. you add the better. Make sure you include current phone numbers
2.) Contact those references prior or shortly after you apply so they are aware. ( some people don’t answer an unknown number)
3.) Have questions you may have regarding the property ready at the time of showing.
4.) If you’re handy or willing to cut grass etc. let them know. They may appreciate the help.
⭐️If you don’t hear back contact the landlord or property manager, showing you’re really interested is good.
✔️And remember sometimes you may not have been the right fit for that particular place, so asking if the landlord has anything else is a good idea. You can also ask to have them keep your application yo be notified if another place opens up.👍
