Join an established, growing company that owns and manages nearly 350 apartments and multiple office buildings and industrial facilities in Manitowoc and the surrounding area. Park Regency Management is looking for an outgoing and motivated person who enjoys maintaining and repairing properties.

In coordination with the manager and lead maintenance technician, the Maintenance Technician employee’s primary responsibility is to ensure that all vacated apartments are thoroughly restored to “rent ready” status in a timely manner and according to the manager’s timetable.

Part time applicants are also encouraged to apply.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspect vacated apartments and completes checklists regarding making the apartment “rent ready”. Informs lead maintenance technician and manager of needed services and repairs.
• Routinely perform duties to restore apartments to “rent ready” status.
• Restoration may include basic electrical repair, plumbing, carpentry, painting, cleaning, wall patching, moving appliances, and flooring repair.
• Must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees.
• Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.
• Keep grounds clean at all times, including grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping.
• Complete assigned work orders. This may include resident service requests for repairs in occupied units, common area repairs or project work to be completed.
• Assist lead maintenance technician when requested.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned, including those at non-multifamily properties.
• Required to be on call and work hours may flex depending on business demands.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• High School Diploma or GED Required
• Valid Driver’s License
• Professional conduct and good interpersonal skills
• Willing to work 40 hours per week (M-F, 8am-4pm) and be on call for emergencies
• Ability to routinely lift over 50 pounds
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
• Past maintenance experience preferred

• $20.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience

The qualified candidate will be living on-site at River North Apartments.
Responsibilities would include building caretaking, cleaning of common areas, addressing general apartment maintenance requests, and basic tenant communications.
