🏡 SOLD! A journey worth sharing, and uffda… what a journey! 🔑

My sellers had built up enough equity in their home to purchase their next home without making their offer contingent on selling their current home. That gave them a huge advantage in a multiple-offer situation, and they were willing to take the risk.

We knew they still needed to sell their existing home, so the plan was to get it on the market and make it happen.

📩 Offer received: 5/9

The catch? That buyer had a property sale contingency.
And then it got even more interesting…

The home that their buyer needed to sell also received an offer, contingent on the sale of another property.
Yep. We were officially three houses deep. 😂
Fast forward to the original closing date we had been working toward, and the third house in the chain just couldn’t get sold.
So we had a decision to make.

Relist. Reset. Go again.

Although we offers were received quickly…from the original listing date to closing, this journey took 135 days. Was it the path we originally expected? Absolutely not.
