A milestone worth celebrating! For the first time, The Landing Ames has officially reached 100% pre-leased for the upcoming leasing season.

The results speak for themselves: 44.9% of residents renewed, and during their first week of 25-26 leasing, the team signed an incredible 62 leases, making it their highest-performing leasing week of the season. The momentum extended beyond leasing, with 2,291 new social media followers joining The Landing Ames community along the way.

With Lease Launch right around the corner, The Landing Ames is a great example of what’s possible when a team comes together, sets ambitious goals, and continues to raise the bar. ✈️

Last week at The Ohio State University our team attended Buck-I-Frenzy, an event welcoming more than 20,000 students to campus. During this event we brought one of our newest themed activations to life: Altitude Columbus, Where Every Day Is Gameday.

This theme is all about being a part of the team. From the moment students stepped into the activation, we wanted them to feel like they were part of Team Altitude. We created an experience that brought energy, excitement, and sense of belonging that comes with game days. Every element of the activation was designed to reinforce that feeling and give students an opportunity to engage with the Altitude Columbus brand in a way that felt authentic to the college experience.

This is what it looks like to create experiences that go beyond the traditional booth. We’re proud to continue Fighting for the Highest Possible Good in everything we do.

This year’s move-in theme, Leave Your Mark, was brought to life across Tailwind communities through engaging resident activations and intentional touch points designed to make move-in feel memorable from day one.

We believe that our communities are shaped by the people who call them home. Leave Your Mark encourages residents to make their community their own, build meaningful connections, create lasting memories, and contribute to the culture that makes each community special.

Every March, our communities go head-to-head in our annual Leasing Madness tournament, bringing a little March Madness energy into the leasing season. Teams compete, rally together, and put their leasing skills to the test for the chance to earn the championship title (and an unforgettable trip!)

Our winning teams headed for beautiful ocean views in Hilton Head, celebrating their hard work, teamwork, and incredible results.

Together, The Lofts Morgantown and The Quarters Ames signed an impressive 633 leases throughout the competition!

When Tailwind Group was founded, the goal was simple: create a company that puts people first, builds meaningful communities, and continues pushing forward through every opportunity and challenge.

What started as a handful of properties has grown into a portfolio of 42 communities serving thousands of residents across 16 states and 24 universities! Along the way, we’ve built incredible teams, formed lasting partnerships, and created experiences that go far beyond the walls of our properties.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone: Tailwind now manages more than 20,000 beds!

This number represents so much more than growth, it represents the residents who call our communities home, the teams who bring our mission to life every day, and the journey that got us here.

A great evening at the Mankato Moon Dogs game with some of our incredible team members.
 
Last night, the Tailwind Group team traded the office for the ballpark and spent the evening together at a Moon Dogs baseball game. Opportunities like these allow us to connect outside of our day-to-day responsibilities, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the people who make our culture so special.
 
We’re grateful for a team that works hard, supports one another, and knows how to have fun along the way. ⚾

Our Excelsior team recently took time for a wellness walk, because we believe prioritizing mental clarity, movement, and connection is just as important as hitting our professional goals.
 
Moments like these remind us that when we show up for the highest good of each other, we’re able to do the same for our residents, our communities, and our teams.
