Gus Johnson Plaza is a great place to live. Not only are the apartments very homey and comfortable, we have many common areas to share with fellow residents. In addition to our sitting areas, we have a billiard room, coffee shop, free library with free wifi, Chapel, puzzle room and a beauty shop on site. We also have noon meals provided by Lutheran Social Services through their Meals on Wheels program. We have so much to offer, you may never need to leave your home. But if you do choose to venture out, we are on the bus line and centrally located. We have one bedroom apartments exclusively for persons 62 years & older or 18 years & older with a disability. There is also an income limit as your rent is affordable while you live at Gus Johnson Plaza. Stop in our entryway and pick up an application at 413 N. 4th St. Mankato, or call to have an application mailed out to you. (507) 345-1497. Currently we do have a waiting list, so there is a little bit of a wait to move in. But consider Gus for any future plans.

Gus Johnson Plaza is home to 108 people who are either 62 years and older or 18 years and older with a disability. Our 1- bedroom apartments have rent that is based on income. Currently we have a waitlist. To join the waitlist, submit a completed application. Either stop in-applications available in the entryway or call and have one mailed to you. Currently the waitlist is about 8 months long.
