The inventory of homes for sale is low which means you will need to move fast when putting an offer in on a home to buy.

It is important to know your budget and what you can afford. Getting a pre-approval for a loan from a lender lets the seller know that you are a serious buyer.

When making an offer, it is important to be fair. But meeting the asking price may not be enough in the competitive atmosphere today.

Be prepared to negotiate, you may have to give up some contract contingencies to be competitive with other offers, however, it is not wise to waive the home inspection.
