💔 THE HARDEST PART OF MY JOB ISN'T SELLING HOUSES.

It's making the phone call to tell good people they didn't get one.

Today was one of those days.

I have the sweetest young couple hunting for their first home. They have done everything right. ✔️

🏡 They saved.📋 They planned.💰 They got pre-approved.✍️ We wrote strong offers.❤️ They trusted the process.

And yet, once again, we found ourselves competing against cash buyers and investors purchasing homes as rentals. With sellers choosing loans or cash that comes with no loan/ repair requirements. Of course this is the best choice for the seller so we can’t be mad at them. It’s just one of those things…😅

That's the part of this business people don't see.

The late nights and paperwork don't bother me. The tough negotiations don't bother me. Mean agents with egos are a dime a dozen and come with the territory.

But hearing the disappointment in a buyer's voice after they've fallen in love with a home? That never gets easier.

As Realtors, we celebrate the closings and hand over keys with big smiles. But some days, we carry heartbreak too.

Tonight my heart is heavy for some wonderful clients who deserve a place to call home.

Today feels really special. 🤍

Seeing my story shared like this is such an honor, and honestly, it’s hard to put into words what this moment means to me. Real estate has brought so many incredible people into my life, and I’m beyond thankful for every client, friend, family member, and supporter who has been part of this journey.
