Pre-Drywall meeting with my client today, he’s building a brand new Highland Home In Goodland!!! As an agent I am here to support you throughout it all!
This is what the process looks like from start ➡️ to finish!
📍Seek out the perfect neighborhood, builder and Floorplan!
📍Choose a lot, add in structural changes/cost, Negotiate the final number and sign the contract ✍️!
📍Get Pre-approved - with new builds this can go 2 ways. Prior to looking or after a final price is negotiated upon.
📍The fun starts… You will get 1-2 meetings at the design center (depending on builder). I will be there to help and offer a sounding voice 😊 From Interior designs to electrical decisions- we choose It all!
📍Pre-Construction meeting! We get the chance to sit down with our construction manager to go over all our choices and summon any last minute changes!
📍Construction begins- your lot gets graded, framed, plumbing is installed and we are ready for foundation! Your next steps are your house gets framed, electrical and HVAC gets prepped for install, roof goes on and we are ready for our Pre-Drywall Meeting with our construction manager!
📍The next steps are all the fun ones- Drywall is hung, Brick goes in, house is sheet rocked, painted, flooring goes in, light fixtures up, cabinets installed, doors hung - your masterpiece is coming to life!!
📍We have a couple more meetings- we have a new home orientation and FINAL walk through! This is the time if you choose to hire a 3rd party inspector, you do so!
📍Once everything is perfect- we sign off and CLOSE!
This process takes anywhere from 6-8 months typically but is truly magical to watch your dream come from a lot of dirt into a beautiful home you built!
