Everyone thinks their home is perfect...until the Blue Tape Walk 👀🏡

Today we were at a client's new construction home completing their Blue Tape Walkthrough!

So what exactly is it? 🤔

A Blue Tape Walk is typically completed a few days before closing and gives buyers the opportunity to identify cosmetic items, workmanship concerns, or incomplete finishes that need attention before they receive the keys.

During a Blue Tape Walk, we're looking for things like:
🔹 Paint touch-ups
🔹 Drywall imperfections
🔹 Cabinet and countertop damage
🔹 Flooring scratches or gaps
🔹 Door and window operation
🔹 Plumbing fixtures
🔹 Electrical outlets and switches
🔹 Appliance installation
🔹 Exterior items and drainage concerns

💡Pro Tip: Even though it's a brand-new home, don't assume everything is perfect. This is your chance to make sure the builder delivers the home you expected.

Having representation during the new construction process can help ensure important details aren't overlooked before closing day.
