Development is a real estate development firm with a diverse skill set and a long history of master planning single family home communities and developing multi family, commercial and retail projects in the DFW area. Development was founded by Robert McCaslin Sr. who now shares the responsibilities of running the day to day operations with his son Robert McCaslin Jr. and daughter Kim McCaslin. Robert (Bobby) McCaslin Sr. started the company with the goal of developing quality, carefully planned properties in proven familiar markets so Texas families will have a place they are proud to call home. His vision was to establish communities and to build strong relationships and partnerships with investors and builders to bring that vision to fruition. Development has developed over 3,500 lots in sixteen (16) single family neighborhoods, several mutli-family apartment communities and commercial, retail and office park projects. The company’s strategic plan is to focus on land acquisitions, zoning and entitlement in high opportunity areas, then assess what is the best use of the land and work in conjunction with the respective municipality to ensure that both visions align. Development has broadened its area of expertise, it remains true to the core values that have made M.R. Development successful-focus, financial strength and relationships.
