Some mornings it’s easy… and some mornings it takes a little pep talk just to get started.

If you’re anything like me, post-menopause has made you realize that taking care of yourself looks a little different these days. Building muscle doesn’t happen by accident anymore, and getting enough protein actually takes some planning.

This morning I chose a walk on the treadmill, followed by a 40g protein breakfast before diving into work. Nothing fancy. No big transformation. Just one more small choice that my future self will hopefully thank me for.

I’ve learned that we don’t have to do everything perfectly. We just have to keep choosing ourselves, one day at a time.

Here’s to being just a little better than we were yesterday. ❤️
