Just received another five-star review, and I truly appreciate the kind words and the referral that made this assignment possible.

This particular appraisal was for an out-of-town client who needed a retrospective valuation of land in Avoyelles Parish for tax purposes. Assignments like this require going back in time and analyzing market conditions as they existed on a specific past date — something I’m able to do with years of local market data.

While many people think of appraisals in the context of mortgages and lender work, there are a number of other reasons an appraisal may be needed, including tax and IRS-related purposes, estate matters, and more.

Grateful for the opportunity to help and for the trust placed in my work.

Earlier this week I spent the day at Larto Lake appraising camps and waterfront lots. Recreational properties like these are unique, and their value is often driven by factors that don’t apply to typical residential homes.

If you’re thinking about buying or selling a recreational property and aren’t sure what to offer or how to price it, feel free to call or text me at 318-964-2500. Having good information up front can save a lot of time and frustration — list too high and it can sit, list too low and you leave money on the table.

Another five-star review that I truly appreciate. This assignment involved a residential property on 70+ acres, which required careful analysis of both the home and the surrounding land. Rural and complex properties like this are a specialty of mine.
