🌾❤️ HARVEST TIME — A TIME TO REMEMBER HOW IMPORTANT OUR FARMERS ARE!

As we see the fields changing and harvest season getting underway, it's a great reminder of just how much we depend on the hardworking farmers in our communities.

Farmers work long hours, often starting before the sun comes up and finishing long after it goes down. They care for the land, raise the food that ends up on our tables, and help keep our communities and our economy moving.

So this harvest season, let's take a moment to say THANK YOU to our farmers. 🌽🚜

And while we're saying thank you, let's also remember something important:

🚜 FARM EQUIPMENT WILL BE ON THE ROADS!

Please slow down, be patient, watch for slow-moving equipment, and give tractors, combines, and other farm machinery plenty of room. That equipment may be traveling much slower than we're used to, but the people operating it are simply trying to get their work done and get home safely.

A few extra minutes on the road is worth it.

Let's look out for our farmers, share the road, and make sure everyone gets home safely. ❤️

Today was closing day for another quality new construction home by Curwick Home Builders! There’s something so special about seeing the excitement on a new homeowner’s face as they sit at the closing table. It never gets old!

This closing was extra special because the new homeowner is a long-time Manteno resident! It’s always wonderful to see people continue to call this community home while making new memories in a beautiful new house.

🍂🏡 FALL HOMEOWNER CHECKLIST! 🏡🍂

Fall is here, and before we trade the rake for the snow shovel, there are a few outdoor projects worth checking off the list!

🍁 Rake & remove leaves — Keep leaves from piling up on your lawn and around your home.

✂️ Trim trees & shrubs — Remove dead branches and anything that could become a problem during winter storms.

🌿 Clean up garden beds — Pull spent plants and weeds and consider adding mulch for winter protection.

🏠 Clean those gutters! — Clear out leaves and debris so water can drain properly and help prevent winter problems.

🌱 Give your lawn some attention — One final mow and some fall lawn care can help set you up for a healthier spring.

❄️ Prepare outdoor items for winter — Drain garden hoses, store outdoor furniture, and put away seasonal equipment.

A little time spent outside this fall can help protect your home and make that first warm day of spring a whole lot easier! 🍂😊

🍂 Remember in school when the teacher asked you to bring in leaves and identify them?

I always found that assignment a little challenging. 😂🍁

You'd look at a leaf and think, “Okay... I know this is a leaf... but what kind?” 🤔

Sometimes a home inspection can feel a little like that—especially for a first-time homebuyer!

You walk through a house and everything looks great, but then the inspector starts talking about the roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, grading, sump pumps, and things you didn't even know existed. 😳

🏡❤️ Some homes just feel different.

As a real estate agent, I have the privilege of walking through so many beautiful homes. But every once in a while, I walk through one that just feels special.

The minute I stepped into the kitchen of this home, I had a thought: “I have just the buyer for this.”

The funny part? That buyer wasn't even looking for a home! 😂

So, I called the family and said, “Just come take a look. You don't have to buy it!”

Three hours later... we had an offer submitted! 🎉

Sometimes you just know when a home is going to be the right fit. This one had that feeling from the very beginning, and seeing it become the perfect home for this family makes my heart happy.
