Happy almost Father's Day, Bay Head and Mantoloking! 👨👧👦
If you're still figuring out Sunday's plans, here's what's happening right in our backyard:
🥞 Brunch on the veranda — The Grenville in Bay Head does a classic Sunday brunch just steps from the beach. Worth calling ahead this weekend.
🏃 Point Pleasant Boro Rotary 5K & Fun Run — Saturday, June 20 at Community Park. A great way to kick off the weekend and support local Rotary charities.
🎣 Freshwater Fishing Derby — June 20-21, open to beginners and experienced anglers alike. Free hands-on casting clinics if Dad wants to teach the kids.
🎡 Jenkinson's Boardwalk — Dads get in free to the aquarium, mini golf, and fun house this weekend. Easy win for a family afternoon.
🚲 Or keep it simple: a bike ride down to the beach, a slow walk along Main Avenue, or just sitting on the porch with the people he loves.
That's the beauty of this stretch of coast. Some of the best Father's Day plans don't take much planning at all.
