LUXURY VINYL PLANK has come SO FAR 🙌🏼🏡

Yes—you can spend more and go with real hardwood or engineered hardwood, and there are absolutely homes where that makes sense. BUT for homes under $1M (depending on the area), LVP is a product I would definitely consider—especially if RESALE is part of the plan.

One of my biggest recommendations: GO CONTINUOUS. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

If you’re replacing flooring on the main level, consider running the SAME flooring throughout the Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room + main living spaces instead of breaking it up room by room.

WHY? Buyers are loving this look right now. 🩵

5 KITCHEN TRENDS I’M LOVING IN MINNESOTA 🩵

Whether you’re building, renovating or buying a home that needs some updating, here are 5 kitchen ideas I’m seeing that can make a BIG impact:

🩵 STATEMENT LIGHTING
Don’t be afraid to go bigger over an island. Lighting is one of those places where you can completely change the feel of a kitchen + add personality without changing the entire space.

🩵 OVERSIZED ISLANDS
The kitchen really is where everyone ends up. Larger islands give you more prep space, more seating + a natural place for people to gather. If you have the room, this is one area I think is worth prioritizing.

🩵 QUARTZ COUNTERTOPS
I’m loving lighter quartz with subtle veining + movement. You get that beautiful, high-end look while still having something durable + practical for everyday life.

🩵 BRASS + BLACK DETAILS
Hardware + faucets are such an EASY way to add contrast. I love warm brass mixed with black, and you absolutely do NOT need every metal in your kitchen to match. These smaller details can make a surprisingly big difference.

🩵 CUSTOM BUILT-INS
One of my favorites. Beverage areas, coffee bars, extra cabinetry + thoughtful storage can make a kitchen feel so much more custom while also making the space function better.

And one of my biggest pieces of advice when building or renovating: you do NOT need to splurge everywhere. Pick a few areas that are worth the investment + look for places to save on the rest. I’m always about getting the BEST BANG FOR YOUR BUCK while still creating a home that feels special.

LIVE music is one of my favorite things 🎸🎸 and what you might not know about me… my favorite genre of music is 70s music!

The Doobie Brothers 🩵 And I’m guessing many of you don’t even know who they are lol 😂 They were BIG before I was even born, but somehow this era + genre of music is my absolute FAVE. And Santana was AMAZING too!

BIG fan of the Mystic Amphitheater 🙌🏼 Outdoor music + such a FUN new venue. LOVE IT.
