September Weather Outlook Summary by Meteorologist Frank Watson: Temperatures are favored to average warmer than normal. Precipitation is expected to total below normal. Sun is expected to dominate much of the first week of the month with the best chances for rain coming on September 2-3. A chance for a rain event is favorable from September 9-11. Expect cooler temperatures and sunshine from September 12-15. A cloudier period is favorable from September 16-24, bringing a chance for passing rains. I expect them to be light in terms of total precipitation. Sunnier and drier weather is favored from September 25-30 with a chance of showers on September 26.
