Rates change. The right house does not.

Here’s a real-world example using a $450,000 home.

🏡 If that home increases in value just 5 percent over 24 months, that’s about $22,500 in equity gained.

Now let’s talk interest. Even a full 1 percent higher rate might mean roughly $250–$300 more per month. Over two years, that’s around $6,000–$7,200 in extra interest.

So when you line it up:
• Equity gained: ~$22,500
• Extra interest paid: ~$7,000

You’re still ahead by $15,000+, and you can refinance the rate when it makes sense. You cannot go back and buy the house you passed on.

Slow real estate day for me, so I’m on a job site learning how to frame a building with Reilly Construction & Arbor Care, LLC. Measuring, cutting, and figuring out how houses, or in this case a building for an electrical company actually come together.
