In my "Earth to Federal Reserve: What are you waiting for?" article last month I explained why the Fed should have cut rates 25 bp in July. BUT.. the Fed did surprise me by cutting rates by 50 bp. And by indicating that the current projections suggest another 50 bp by the end of the year, and a further 100 bp (1%) by the end of 2025....
