After building 250+ homes in subdivisions, on off-site lots and 3 spectacular Parade of Homes models in Central NY, Jack Scalice has become well known in the Syracuse area as a custom home builder. As a teenager, Jack worked part-time for Pigliavento Builders, based in Schenectady, on their very first construction project and continued for 10 more years. During that time, Jack graduated from Hud

son Valley Community College with an A.A.S in Construction Technology/Building Construction. Upon Jack’s move to the Syracuse area in 1995, he was immediately employed by a large local builder as their Site Supervisor. During his 8 years with this local builder, he built over 70 custom homes in the Central NY area. The majority of these homes were on customer owned home sites, which in the building trade are called "offsite". In 2003, Pigliavento Builders approached Jack to "head up" their Central NY division, where he continued to build custom homes, enlarge his remodeling business and open new subdivisions. In January of 2015, Jack renamed the company from Pigliavento Builders CNY to Scalice Custom Homes & Remodeling, offering the same quality & service, just a new name. With every home Jack has built, he has become known as a builder that provides a hands-on approach through each step in the building process. Jack takes great pride in bringing an ease to the process of home building and has earned him the nickname, "The Thoughtful Builder". As "The Thoughtful Builder", Jack personally meets with each client from start to finish. The floor plans he offers are as unique as buyers' ever-changing needs today. Whether you are looking for a colonial, one level living, space for teens or in-laws, your search is over. If Jack doesn't have a plan for you already, he will start from scratch & create your new home. Collectively, you & Jack, will design yout new home to fit your budget, your wants and wishes, making your new home, yours and yours alone....
Careful consideration is also given to your budget when it comes time to make your selections,(colors, carpeting, tiles, appliances, etc.) as our knowledgeable, local suppliers take the time with you to ensure that the ease of your building experience continues.
