My day started by helping another agent while they’re out of town.
One thing people don’t always see behind the scenes of real estate is how important it is to have colleagues you can count on. Getting away for a vacation isn’t always easy in this business, so having someone willing to step in and help is invaluable.
While I was there, I discovered what may be the most elaborate cat setup I’ve ever seen. 😂 Complete with windows and its own entrance. Honestly, this cat may have better accommodations than most people.
From there, I spotted a bird’s nest tucked away in a tree, filled with tiny eggs waiting to hatch. It felt like a little reminder to slow down and pay attention to the things we’d normally walk right past.
The afternoon was spent catching up with a dear friend and past client that I hadn’t seen in person in far too long. We explored downtown Dallas, enjoyed good coffee, I found the cutest pair of pants, and got to visit with several local business owners who help make our community such a special place.
Not every day is exciting. Not every day changes your life.
But days filled with friendship, community, unexpected discoveries, and meaningful work are worth appreciating.
Now I’m ending the day exactly where I want to be—with a good book, a grateful heart, and a smile from a day well spent. ❤️
