🏠 Thinking of a Loan Modification? 🏠

A loan modification can change the terms of your mortgage, making payments more manageable. ✅

Eligibility Requirements:

Financial hardship
- You must be able to prove you need the loan mod
- Common proofs are; foreclosure, probate, loss of job, divorce, etc.

Documented proof of income.
- Your surplus income ($ left over after all bills) must be 15% of your total income
- EX- If you make $100k, you must have at least $15k left over after all bills are paid.

Mortgage not too far behind.
- Even with some arrears, the bank may be able to incorporate it into your monthly payments.

🏠 Hey friends! If you or someone you know is struggling with their house payments, don't panic! Here are some ways to keep your home: 🏠

Loan Modification: Talk to the bank and see if they can tweak your loan a bit, like making the monthly payment smaller or giving you more time.

Refinance: Think about getting a new loan with better rules if things have changed since you bought your home.

Sell to an Investor: This is a cool option! Even if they might not offer the full price your home might be worth, investors can close the deal in just 2 weeks. The foreclosure stops immediately, you don't need to fix anything, and depending on your loan, you might even get some cash in your pocket!

Repayment Plan: If you missed some payments but are doing better now, maybe the bank will let you pay a bit extra each month until you're all caught up.

Forbearance: Sometimes, the bank might let you stop paying for a short while. But remember, you'll have to catch up later!

Short Sale: If your home's price went down and is now worth less than your loan, the bank might let you sell it for that lower price and not worry about the rest.

Bankruptcy: This is a big step, but sometimes, with a lawyer's help, you can use legal rules to protect your home.
